We`ve heard from some local families that find it difficult to attend our weekday events, but would very much like to join us for social events at weekends. So now we intend to expand the social side of our group activities, would you like to join in?

We would like to expand the social side of our group so that local veggies of all ages, backgrounds etc, can get involved and benefit from meeting up with likeminded people. Up till now, our social activities have been restricted to weekdays, but there`s no reason why we can`t meet up at weekends. This would make it easier for families with young children, and those who work all week, to get involved.

Are you interested in rambles across our local countryside? Cyclerides? Veggie BBQ`s? Cinema outings? Garden parties? Meals out? Group visits to local places of interest? Would you be able to help organise any of these events? Are there other veggie-friendly activities that you would like to get involved in locally?

One member has proposed that we meet up for a walk by the river in Studley, before ending up at The Little Lark for a meal. No date is fixed for this yet, but if you`re interested in coming along, with or without your four legged friends, please let us know.

If you`re holding a veggie friendly event yourself, we may be able to help publicise it via our email list, newsletter and this website. Remember, if you`re veggie/vegan and you live in or near Redditch, then this group is for you. You`ll be made to feel very welcome, so please don`t be afraid to join us!!
