RVV's founder is standing for parliament!

Founder of RVV, Kevin White has been selected as the Green Party's Redditch candidate for the General Election. Amongst others, he'll be taking on Jacqui Smith, the town's current MP and former Home Secretary! Click here to read more about Kevin, his election campaign and his reasons for standing.
Kevin says:

"Throughout my life, I have taken a very keen interest in environmental and animal related issues and in more recent years, these interests have widened to include peace, social justice, health, democracy and more. I believe it’s very important to stand up for what you believe in and speak out when something is unfair or unjust. As such, I devote much of my time to campaigns on a very wide variety of issues, everything from climate change and animal rights, to essential local services, waste reduction and organising community events.

I believe that environmental concerns should be at the heart of political decision making locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Standing for the Green Party in elections is a fantastic way of pushing these issues up the political agenda & bringing them to the attention of the general public.

I’m very much looking forward to the General Election campaign and giving everyone in Redditch the opportunity to vote for a sustainable, fair & compassionate society".
