RVV members staged the annual Redditch street collection for Animal Aid on Sat 30th June. Not only did we collect inside the Kingfisher Centre, we also held an information stall inside.
  The Animal Aid permit to collect included within the very busy Kingfisher Shopping Centre. With it being an awfully wet day, we jumped at the opportunity to set up our information stall inside too. Sadly, there were only 3 collectors this year, less than half the number we normally have, so we only managed to raise £91 for Animal Aid`s campaigns. But there was lots of interest in the stall during the 4.5 hours it was there. Positioned so that our banner faced the shoppers streaming through the main doors, we were seen by several thousand people through the day, many of whom came over to take leaflets, newsletters etc and chat about veggie/veganism!
