Welcome to our website! We are a social & active group for
vegetarians & vegans(and those aspiring to be) in Redditch and the
surrounding area. Group activities vary enormously, and include our
monthly meetings/socials which are open to all; regular meals out in the local area; and promoting the many benefits of the veggie/vegan lifestyles by holding information stalls at a variety of local events, mass leafletting and we stage food fairs which attract hundreds of people!
We produce a regular newsletter which is available online, or you can subscribe for
monthly mailouts. Also on this website, you`ll find details of
veggie-friendly restaurants and local shops that cater well for us. You`ll also find interesting veggie
news items
and full details of our forthcoming events. Why not join our forum
where you can get to know veggies and vegans across Redditch.
RVV promotes ways of living free from animal products - for the benefit
of people, animals and the environment. We are affiliated to The Vegetarian Society and we are
local group contacts for both The
Vegan Society and Viva!
RVV is a member of

of Greens (RAG). The alliance comprises local environmental,
ethical and social justice groups, all working towards a more sustainable
town and planet.

100`s Tuck in at Green Fair
On Saturday 7 June, the 3rd independent Redditch Green Fair was the biggest and best yet. The eco extravaganza was like no other ever seen in the town. Vegan catering was provided on 3 separate stalls throughout the day. On the RVV stall, mountains of delicious free food was devoured by 100`s of fair goers. Many thanks to Redwood Foods and Beanie`s Health Foods for generous donations of their products. RVV members also served refreshments and our eco veggie posters were on display, leaving people in no doubt that plant based diets are the most eco-friendly!
