Date:
Wed 1st Aug 2007 @ 19:30
until

( past event )
If you`re veggie or vegan(or moving in that direction), why not come along to our meeting and get to know other veggies/vegans from across Redditch! We`re a friendly bunch, of all ages, from assorted backgrounds. We have one thing in common - we want to live a healthy, compassionate, eco-friendly lifestyle by not eating meat/animal products, and we want to promote the many benefits to others!
Indian Cookery Demonstration/Workshop
Anita Sharma-James of The Spice Trade, Bromsgrove, will demonstrate how to make delicious Indian food such as vegetable pakoras and samosas. We`ll also have the chance to get stuck in and have a go ourselves!!!
The Spice Trade offers Indian cookery courses and demonstrations as well as catering for dinner parties and special occasions, allowing clients to sample and try their hand at home-cooked Indian food. Anita runs the courses and workshops either in her own home or at the client`s house. All the food is vegetarian and most is vegan. Click here to see a double page spread of Anita in action, inside the North Worcestershire magazine `The Village`! (scroll to page 30-31)
Lisa from Red Kite Health Foods in Bromsgrove, will have a stall offering a wide range of tempting treats from the shops shelves.
FREE ADMISSION - Everyone Welcome, but it would be helpful to have an idea of numbers, so please let us know if you intend to attend.
Vegan biscuits and refreshments will be available for everyone from 7.15pm. As always, there will be a range of factsheets and leaflets to browse and take home. There will also be a `library` of interesting books regarding veggie/vegan diets. Everyone will be welcome to borrow books and bring them back next time.
