Redditch Vegetarians & Vegans are co-ordinating an Animal Aid street collection in Redditch on Saturday 30th June. We have a permit to collect throughout the town centre, including inside the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

If you have an hour or so to spare, why not come along to shake a tin, help raise funds for Animal Aid`s invaluable campaigns that promote vegetariansm/veganism. In previous years, over £200 has been collected by just a handful of volunteers, imagine how much we could make if you bring all your friends!! Children under 16 are welcome to help, as long as they`re accompanied by an adult.

We have everything you will need - tins, sashes, leaflets, stickers etc. If you really want to attract the public, we will have an animal costume you could wear or you may even like to hire a costume for the day! Everyone who cares about animals, will instantly know you`re collecting in aid of them, you could double your takings!!

There will be a stall outside the Three Cooks Bakery in the town centre from 10am. Weather permitting, the stall will remain there till at least 3pm. Feel free to turn up at anytime to collect your tin and find a good spot to raise some cash!
