Talk about the Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research

Given by life member and fund raiser Julie Roberts

The Dr Hadwen Trust is a medical registered charity dedicated to finding replacements to the use of animals in experiments. They achieve this by funding and promoting research of the highest quality into many illnesses, to create and develop new replacement methods that can save animals and advance the understanding of human illnesses. Take a look at the Dr Hadwen Trust website www.drhadwentrust.com

Julie Roberts Julie Roberts from Coventry Veggies & Vegans, is tireless in her efforts to promote the fantastic work of the Dr Hadwen Trust, attending fairs/festivals to raise awareness/funds and organising fundraising events in the Coventry area. She will give a talk about the wonderful progress that the Dr Hadwen Trust are making in finding treatments for illnesses and demonstrate why animal experiments are so fundamentally flawed.

You`ll get a chance to ask questions about the work of the trust and an opportunity to buy merchandise from the Trust's Cruelty Free Shop (everything suitable for vegans) eg chocolates, cosmetics, toiletries, jewellery, notelets and cookery books, all helping to raise funds for the Trust's valuable work.

FREE ADMISSION - Everyone Welcome

Vegan biscuits and refreshments will be available for everyone from 7.15pm. As always, there will be a range of factsheets and leaflets to browse and take home. There will also be a `library` of interesting books regarding veggie/vegan diets. Everyone will be welcome to borrow books and bring them back next time.
