If you`re veggie or vegan(or moving in that direction), why not come along to our meeting and get to know other veggies/vegans from across Redditch! We`re a friendly bunch, of all ages, from assorted backgrounds. We have one thing in common - we want to live a healthy, compassionate, eco-friendly lifestyle by not eating meat/animal products, and we want to promote the many benefits to others!

World Vegan Day
The 1st November is the 13th World Vegan Day and The Vegan Society's 62nd birthday, a day of celebration for vegans everywhere! Click on the banner above for more details.

What better way to celebrate World Vegan Day than by tucking into some delicious vegan food!!
A local veggie/vegan food producer will be bringing along some samples of his current range of healthy takeaway meals to this meeting for all to try! He is looking to expand his range of veggie/vegan options over the next few months, and is currently conducting research to establish what food veggie/vegans would like to see more readily available. He intends to supply his new range of meals to local shops, pubs etc. So please join us and tell him what you think of his current meals, how they can be improved etc, he wants constructive criticism and ideas!

Other items on the informal agenda, include setting a date for a Christmas Meal at Jyoti`s Veggie Restaurant in Birmingham and we`ll announce full details of the forthcoming launch of the Redditch Alliance of Greens, of which RVV is a member group.

FREE ADMISSION - Everyone Welcome

Please don`t be scared off by the fact that this is World Vegan Day - as with all our meetings, vegetarians, pescetarians, meat reducers and the veggie inquisitive are all welcome.

Vegan biscuits and refreshments will be available for everyone from 7.15pm. As always, there will be a range of factsheets and leaflets to browse and take home. There will also be a `library` of interesting books regarding veggie/vegan diets. Everyone will be welcome to borrow books and bring them back next time.

Head towards Redditch Town Centre. As you approach Staples/Currys roundabout, get in the left hand lane and take the 1st left - St Georges Road. St Georges Community Hall is down the end on the left, attached to St Georges Church. There is plenty of parking space outside.
