If you`re veggie or vegan(or moving in that direction), why not come along to our meeting and get to know other veggies/vegans from across Redditch! We`re a friendly bunch, of all ages, from assorted backgrounds. We have one thing in common - we want to live a healthy, compassionate, eco-friendly lifestyle by not eating meat/animal products, and we want to promote the many benefits to others!
Guest Speaker - Tim Woodley of Red Star Natural Liquid Soaps
Red Star produce a range of quality liquid soaps and dog shampoo. Red Star Natural Liquid Soaps are not only made entirely from natural ingredients, they are also vegan and not tested on animals. These are the principles by which the company was formed in June 2004, and all the bottles carry the logos of The Vegetarian Society, The Vegan Society, the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection(BUAV) and Viva! Ex fireman Tim, will talk about the company`s history and success, and about the ethics at it`s heart. There will be an opportunity to buy the soaps and everyone that attends the meeting will be treated to a special introductory offer saving you £££`s. More details about Red Star can be found on their website www.redstarnaturalliquidsoaps.co.uk
FREE ADMISSION - Everyone Welcome
Vegan biscuits and refreshments will be available for everyone from 7.15pm. As always, there will be a range of factsheets and leaflets to browse and take home. There will also be a `library` of interesting books regarding veggie/vegan diets. Everyone will be welcome to borrow books and bring them back next time.
